From The Archives

Looking through the shoot we did with the lovely Hanna for Boho, I was struck by how much Hannah reminded me of a young Jean Shrimpton, mixed in with a dash of "Amy Pond"  60's time travelling anyone?...

Been... an even longer time....

Can it really have been this long? so many outlets to keep on top of, Facebook, Twitter etc etc.

Anyhoo, lots of new pictures to add. A great fun shoot with Bath Theatrical Costume Hire, they have over 25000 costumes, so, expect a lot of pictures! The idea  was to try out some looks for the "Town Called Alice " shoot we did at the home of two old friends of ours, Also to try some looks for a project my partner in Shoot The Cherry, (our combined photography and styling enterprise) Felicity Keefe has planned for a new project based around a georgian themed shoot. Can't say too much at this point, but stay tuned.

Hope you enjoy the pix, The Alice shoot was trying to say the least, due to the English Summer deciding that, despite it being 90 degrees the day before the shoot and 85 degrees the day after....
it would tip down on the actual day, causing us to have to abandon the location we had spent hours styling and lighting and move the whole shoot indoors. Cue a total re think as to how to make it work.

Frustrating beyond belief, but we got a result nonethless. studio next time....a big one!

"Been a long time"...

Well... it's been a while! too busy taking pictures to actually remember to put them up to show to people.. ( well apart from the Facebook Photography page that is.) sorry...

Anyway I thought I would put up a selection from the shoots I've been doing over the last few months.

First up there was a a great shoot I did for a boutique in Bath called Mee, check out their website which will be up any day. Some great clothes, Renee the model looked fab and as ever the make up was brilliant thanks to the incredibly talented Marissa Anderson. ( link to follow). The styling for all these shoots was by the very clever Felicity Keefe.

Then followed a shoot of my own devising with the lovely Hannah, whom I spotted shopping and knew would just be great...and she was. ( Birdcage etc)

After that a shoot again using clothes from Mee featuring the beautiful Megan -Rose. Eagle eyed viewers will recognise Megan from a number of my previous shoots. She is so photogenic and when she is not running down certain items from my wardrobe.. a delight to work with! ( Pink Flowers etc)

A shoot for the wonderful Sarah Burton who's company Working Frocks are definitely worth a look featured Harriet, who caught my eye just as she was leaving in her bargain find of the month, I've christened it the Bat cape... see what you think.

Finally I have added a few pix from Bath In Fashion, which attracted thousands of people to the shows and seminars and included the wonderful Manolo Blahnik whom I had the pleasure of photographing and spending some time with before his talk. He truly is a delightful man, we talked well ...shoes! and he was generous enough to write a lovely inscription in his fairy tale book for my six year old son.
 ( girlfriend points ahoy when he's 16...)

Oh yes and last but not least the inimitable Ronnie Wood taken at London Fashion Week when he attended the Topman show...you are indeed never alone with a Stone.

London Fashion Week A/W 2012 pictures will be up very soon.
