Oh Coco!

It's all about Coco Rocha for me this week. She has a great look and I particularly like these Elle covers and the amazing hats that look as if they were inspired by the Black Smoke in "Lost"..!
Her blog is disarmingly ditzy too, check it out at www.cocorocha.com

Got a call yesterday to cover London Fashion Week so expect a blizzard of images over the next few weeks. Peace out

Rumblings from the archive

Hi Fashionista's and Photo Hounds

I thought I would pop up a few pix from the "vault" one is from an amazing band, The Whores, sadly not together right now but....who knows eh? The other is the lovely Magda and China from a very cool night called Cabaret Abattoir, it's  a Bristol extravaganza so if you see it advertised ..go! its ace. The last one is from the first shoot I did with the utterly beautiful Megan Rose Raymond. She is centre stage in the Vampire Shoot in my last post ( sound like the title of a Western!) She also features heavily in my portfolio on the website. I think she will be a big noise in the fashion world as she's still very young with a great future ahead of her... watch this space.
Right ..it's after midnight so its officially my Birthday.. 21 again !

sweet dreams

Vampire Heaven!

Finally got some of my fav shots back from the Vampire themed shoot I did in february. Inevitably with ten models there will always be a case of nine people look great and one person looks like they are trying to track an imaginary fly! so a few tweaks later and i'm pretty pleased.
let me know what you think.

a big thanks to everyone involved:
Megan
Shirley
Ripley
Magda
China
Robyn
Danny
Max
Mark
Cyril

Everyone was a delight to work with and considering we only had four hours to shoot the whole thing then tear it down before Russell Kane took the stage that evening I think we all did very well campers!

big thanks to Felicity, Robbie Chris and Owen and as always the lovely Kate Whale for letting us use the Space.

Ash Rock The Komedia

The mighty Ash played a storming gig at the Komedia in Bath at the end of last month, The band who were joined during the encore by Hugh Cornwell for a rousing rendition of the Stranglers's No More Heroes, and Ash's own Burn baby Burn, were on great form. They e-mailed to say the gig was their favourite date on the tour!. They plan to come back next time, so take a tip and bag a ticket...

below are some shots I took during the show, with some seriously good Rock Star poses from  bass guitarist Mark Hamilton......

Dressing the Stars at The Bath Museum Of Fashion.

Some of the best and brightest costume designers in the business all under one roof, just got back and it is indeed fab. Loved the detail on the Gladiator Costumes and it was intriguing to see just how much the original Jack Sparrow costume needs film stock to bring it to life, pretty understated in the flesh!

Go See....

costumes from films include
Henry V
Gladiator
The French Lieutenant's Woman
The King's Speech
Elizabeth
Pirates Of The Caribbean
Death On The Nile
The Duchess
Restoration
Tess

The Last Emperor
